This Week in the Macabre

A spooky West Valley simultaneity?

This week the Global Citizenship Committee, Anthropology’s Dr. Kindon, and the ASO have all expressed their appreciation for the unearthly and bizarre!

(1)     The Global Citizenship Committee is hosting Art Historian Paul Koudounaris on Wednesday, March 7th, 7 pm in lecture hall Fox 120.

Dr. Koudounaris will present his research on, and extraordinary photographs of, 16th and 17th century ossuaries, charnel houses, and skeletal shrines.

Heidi says, “check it oouut!”

More information on Dr. Koudounaris here.

(2)     The Anthropology department has proposed a Fall 2012 section of (Anthro 55) Witchcraft and Magic.

(3)     The Associated Student Organization, in conjunction with the Campus Center Art Gallery, is planning a Fall ’12 Dios de la Muerte exhibition of student work.
